Scifiniti is proud to have participated as a Platinum Sponsor at the 21st International Wireless Communications & Mobile Computing Conference (IWCMC 2025), held from 12–16 May 2025 at the Marriott Hotel, Abu Dhabi, UAE. This year’s theme, “Green and Intelligent Communications,” highlighted the conference’s focus on sustainable innovation and forward-looking technologies in wireless and mobile computing.

IWCMC 2025 brought together global experts to explore a wide range of cutting-edge topics, including 5G/6G networks, edge and cloud computing, Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence, machine learning, quantum computing, cybersecurity, blockchain, neural networks, natural language processing, signal processing, and optical and photonic communication systems.

In addition to Scifiniti, other notable sponsors included IEEE as a Technical Sponsor and TMYTEK as a Platinum Sponsor.

The conference featured inspiring keynote talks by leading experts. Prof. Hossam S. Hassanein delivered a compelling address titled "Democratizing Edge Computing – Enabling Open and Scalable AI at the Edge," and Prof. Jaime Lloret Mauri presented "Smart Edge Computing in Heterogeneous Wireless Sensor Networks for Precision Agriculture." Their talks provided forward-thinking perspectives on decentralization, data-driven agriculture, and scalable AI infrastructure.

Across the conference, sessions spanned a rich array of themes, with dedicated tracks on machine learning applications, emerging technologies, wireless communication, advances in blockchain systems and many others—underscoring the interdisciplinary nature of innovation in this domain.

As a strong advocate for collaborative research, Scifiniti is committed to supporting impactful initiatives that drive innovation in Computing & AI and Communications & Optics. Our involvement in IWCMC 2025 aligns closely with the mission of our journals—Computing & AI Connect and Communications & Optics Connect—to foster the exchange of ideas and accelerate progress across emerging scientific frontiers.

We were also pleased to have Prof. Moussa Ayyash, Editor-in-Chief of Computing&AI Connect, actively engage with attendees and thought leaders during technical sessions and networking events, further strengthening connections with the global research community and enhancing awareness of the journal’s vision and scope.

We are especially grateful to Dr. Haythem Bany Salameh (Associate Editor, Communications&Optics Connect) and Dr. Latif U. Khan (Associate Editor, Computing&AI Connect) for their presence and valuable insights throughout the event.

We look forward to continuing our support for high-impact events that align with our mission to connect minds and advance open access research worldwide.
