Scifiniti Publishing was honored to take part in the First National Forum for Peer-Reviewed Journals, hosted by the Scientific Research and Innovation Sector under the patronage of HH Dr. Saif bin Abdullah Al Hadabi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Innovation. The event, co-organized with our partner Modern College of Business and Science (MCBS), was held on October 29–30, 2025.

At this landmark forum, Scifiniti contributed across several fronts:

1. Workshop on Launching and Managing Journals: Our Publishing Director, Qasit O. Malik (along with Dr. Mohammad Ghattas, Managing Director and data analytics specialist Abdallah Abou Hajal) led a workshop for delegates from various Omani universities, sharing practical guidance on establishing and managing successful peer-reviewed journals.
2. Technical Talk on Journal Infrastructure: Prof. Mohammad Ghattas, together with Abdallah Abou Hajal, delivered a technical session highlighting the key infrastructure and technical considerations essential for modern journal management.
3. Plenary Discussion on Publishing Challenges: Prof. Mohammad Ghattas and Abdallah Abou Hajal also participated in a plenary discussion titled “Challenges in Launching Scientific Journals and the Role of Universities, Government, and AI in Enhancing the Publishing Experience,” moderated by Dr. Arwa A. Alhinai with contributions from Dr. Mohammad Al-Jaddawi.
