Vinod Kumar Tiwari

Vinod K. Tiwari is a Professor of Organic Chemistry (since 2005) at the Department of Chemistry, Banaras Hindu University, India. He earned his MSc (in 1998) from BHU, PhD from CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow (in 2004), and had postdoctoral experience at University of Florida, USA (2005) followed by at University of California-Davis (2007), and was Guest Scientist at Universitat Konstanz, Germany (2009). Dr. Tiwari is a highly travelled scientist (delivered 260 invited lectures) and his quality research is well recognized by various academic societies. Dr. Tiwari’s current research interest is focused on ‘Carbohydrate Chemistry and Novel Synthetic Methodologies’, which is well documented in 180 peer-reviewed publications and 8 patents in addition to 25 book chapters and and 5 books.
